Subprocessors
Effective July 25, 2026
BeCited uses a small number of vetted subprocessors to operate the Service. Each one is bound by a data processing agreement (or, where the vendor supplies its own, is subject to a data processing addendum incorporated into our contract with it). None of them may use your data for their own advertising purposes, and none of them is permitted to train its own general-purpose models on your data beyond what a vendor's own terms already allow (for example, standard API terms that exclude training on API traffic).
We keep this list in sync with the "Who We Share Data With" table in our Privacy Policy. If the two ever appear to differ, this page is the current one; please tell us at hello@becited.co so we can fix the mismatch.

What we do not send: your name, email address, or any other account or contact data is never sent to the measurement engines above (Perplexity, SerpApi, Anthropic, OpenAI, Gemini, xAI). Those providers receive only the domain you submit and generic, AI-generated search queries.
International Transfers
Because most of these providers are based in the United States, personal data originating in the EU/EEA, UK, or Turkey is transferred internationally as part of providing the Service. For EU/EEA and UK transfers we rely on Standard Contractual Clauses with our subprocessors and, where available, adequacy mechanisms. For transfers governed by KVKK, we rely on the explicit consent or statutory transfer mechanisms available under KVKK Article 9, as described further in our Data Processing Agreement.
Changes to This List
If we add, remove or replace a subprocessor in a way that affects the categories of data described here, we will update this page and, for customers under an active Data Processing Agreement, notify you in advance so you can object under the terms of that agreement.
